I am well over a month behind with my posts, but as this is my online "scrapbook" I am going to add this stuff anyway! Time to get caught up...finally...
My sister Elizabeth graduated high school in May; this officially makes me old, maybe over the hill even. Okay, maybe not that old, but it has been 10 whole years since I myself walked across that same lush green Fairhope football field to receive my diploma. In some ways, it feels like I have lived a lifetime since then, and in others it feels like yesterday, but I digress.
Here are some pics from Elizabeth's graduation weekend. She was a good sport in spite of the fact that Aiden was being all "look at me, I'm a cute baby! Graduation, what graduation?" and hogging all the attention.
Baccalaureate service, geez Aiden, are you gonna sleep all day?

We had a great time in Fairhope for graduation; I am so proud of you Elizabeth, and I can't wait to see where life takes you! I love you sis!
Oh, your sis is beaming - what a beautiful woman she's become! She makes me feel like a shrimp when I stand by her at church! I dare say that she didn't mind sharing some attention with Aiden. I think she's smitten with him too. Your "little" family is beautiful, Laura.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jennifer-I agree, Elizabeth has become a beautiful woman! She towers over me too :-)
